Arelis Spencer

I am an artist, primarily concerned on expressing myself through a medium of acrylic art using glass and other materials such as crystal stones and shells. This medium is completed by using the application of resin, thus solidifying the art.

Over the years I have worked in acrylics, watercolors, and sculpting. I have had painted murals in France as well various art forms.

I'm working in what I love most. I spend time working on my studio, getting ready the materials that I am going to use on that day, cleaning up preparing the orders that I get, talking to customers, taking photos of the artwork and promoting myself.

The best of my job is working on sculptures, paintings, basket weaving. I spend some of my time sketching and designing what I am going to do next. My ideas could come of me cooking something, working on the garden, going for a ride reading a book, seeing a movie, all those things could trigged an idea that I would sketch and play with it and bring it in a three dimensional piece of art.

I studied at the University of Pennsylvania, the Old Lynne Art Academy in Connecticut, the Museum of Art in Boca Raton, Florida and at the Brigette Bauza Sculpting Academy in Paris, France. I am also an art coordinator for Diego Bauza art, organized his exhibits at the Hollywood Florida Art Gallery and Galleries in London and Paris.
